I am succesfully running a Job Estimates Vs Actuals Summary report using the 'date from' and 'date to' parameters. the date from and date to pull from 2 cells in excel. I would like to be able to run the same report but exactly one year earlier on a different worksheet. When I try to use a formula in excel to get the previous year value, i get a QODBC conversion error.

Also, is there any way to get the same results without using sp_report?

Thanks

See: SQL for sp_reports Job Estimates vs Actuals Summary / Time by Job Summary

All the predefined DateMacro options available to you are:
|All|Today|ThisWeek|ThisWeekToDate|ThisMonth|ThisMonthToDate|ThisQuarter|ThisQuarterToDate
|ThisYear|ThisYearToDate|Yesterday|LastWeek|LastWeekToDate|LastMonth|LastMonthToDate|LastQuarter
|LastQuarterToDate|LastYear|LastYearToDate|NextWeek|NextFourWeeks|NextMonth|NextQuarter|NextYear|

or you may use:

DateFrom = {d'yyyy-mm-dd'}, DateTo = {d'yyyy-mm-dd'}

instead.

Tom,

Is there a way to get the same data from a query? That way I can sort the data based on entry dates.
