I am having a problem getting QODBC to automatically login into Quickbooks.  I have set up the access according to How do I setup QODBC to auto-login into QuickBooks and start it if it's not running? .    I am able to auto-login to the sample version of QB data that is installed on my PC but unable to get it to work on the copy that is sitting on a network server.     I am able to successfully access QB via QODBC on the network server if I go ahead and open the file and leave it open while I am accessing it via QODBC.    I have OQDBC set up to point directly to the company file that is sitting on the server using the option to locate a company file.

Does QODBC support the use of a mapped drive or would I have to possibly use a fully qualified path name in this instance?    is there possibly something else that I have missed?

Thanks!

Mapped drives are the only way because QODBC doesn't support UNC. See also: After upgrading to QuickBooks 2006, QODBC "auto-login" unattended mode no longer works?
