Hi,
We have client’s data on QuickBooks Premier Accountant 2008 Canadian edition and we are using QODBC Driver for QuickBooks Version 8.00.00.242 for data retrieval. We are facing issue while reading AR and AP Payment records using QODBC. When we print Transaction list, Payment records are displayed properly. But when we read data through QODBC, it doesn’t display any records for payment information (For e.g. BillPaymentCheck table doesn’t return any record using QODBC).
We are getting this SDK Message
20080402.190748 I 1304 QBSDKProcessRequest Application named 'FLEXquarters QODBC' starting requests (process 2708). 20080402.190748 I 1304 SpecVersion Current version of qbXML in use: 6.0 20080402.190748 I 1304 QBSDKMsgSetHandler QUERY: Bill Payment Check 20080402.190748 I 1304 BillPmtCheckStorage::DoQuery Setting iterator chunk size to 00000500 20080402.190748 I 1304 QBSDKMsgSetHandler Request 1 completed successfully. 20080402.190748 I 1304 MsgSetHandler Finished. 20080402.190748 I 1304 QBSDKProcessRequest Application named 'FLEXquarters QODBC' finishing requests (process 2708), ret = 0. 20080402.190749 I 1304 QBSDKProcessRequest Application named 'FLEXquarters QODBC' starting requests (process 2708). 20080402.190749 I 1304 SpecVersion Current version of qbXML in use: 6.0 20080402.190749 I 1304 QBSDKMsgSetHandler QUERY: Transaction Delete 20080402.190749 I 1304 QBSDKMsgSetHandler Request 1 completed successfully. 20080402.190749 I 1304 MsgSetHandler Finished. 20080402.190749 I 1304 QBSDKProcessRequest Application named 'FLEXquarters QODBC' finishing requests (process 2708), ret = 0.
Any kind of help on this would be appreciated. Thanks in Advance!
Sincerely, Clifford

QODBC users should note that there are currently several known issues with using Intuit's qbXML SDK v6 with QuickBooks 2008 Canadian Edition.
Here's Intuit's reply to our bug posting regarding: No Data is Returned from Estimate table . Along with a list of other things that are broken:
Yes, this is a known issue. This bug (QBCA001426) is in the list of QB_CA_2008 issues (see below) we recently escalated to QB_CA engineering team. They are actively working on fixing them. We don't have an ETA as of yet but the release of these fixes are likely in a patch release of QB.
