I want to export data into an Excel spreadsheet. The data I want is a modified version of the report "Custom Transaction detail report". Unfortunitly this report is generated from a View or query with a combination of tables and several joins. Can you tell me the what tables make up this report and the keys required to join them?

The QuickBooks  "Custom Transaction Detail" report can be directly accessed using the QODBC stored procedure: sp_report

Stored Procedure reports (sp_reports) can be used by Microsoft Excel to bring any number of QuickBooks reports directly into a spreadsheet by, for example, using the following SQL statement in Microsoft Query:

sp_report TxnDetailByAccount show Text, Blank, TxnType, Date, RefNumber, Name, Memo, ClearedStatus, SplitAccount, Debit, Credit, RunningBalance parameters DateMacro = 'ThisMonthToDate'

See: How do I use the QuickBooks Reporting Engine with QODBC? I've heard something about sp_report ? for more information.
