Can that be accessed via QODBC?
Sorry, no. Intuit did not make that field available to us at this point of time in their qbXML v5 SDK. A request has been posted to their developer forum.

I was trying out QODBC Driver, QTableGrabber and QReportGrabber. None of them show MPN-Manufacturer's Part Number in tables which is imperative to have for my application. MPN field is nowhere to be found. The only way I could make MPN to show is in customized/memorized reports in QuickBooks. But QReportGrabber does not show any Memorized reports. My deadline is running out within days for this. I would pay ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY to have this feature. Please someone help me! |

Using QODBC v8.00.00.234 (or higher) and QuickBooks 2008 and 2009 (USA ) you can now see and insert Manufacturer Part Numbers!

Using QODBC v9.00.00.253 and QuickBooks UK 2008 V17.0U.R10 21/11/2008 the ManufacturerPartNumber column is not in the ItemInventory table (nor any other Item table). This is stopping some of our applications from working.
Please can you advise as to an ETA for a fix.
Thanks, Stu |

The release of the QuickBooks SDK 7.0 included the following new features only available for use starting with U.S. editions of QuickBooks 2008 and QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 8.0:
Manufacturer part number is added to inventory items
Unit of Measure support is added to the various item types
The UK edition of QuickBooks 2008 only uses SDK v6.1 and therefore you can't see the manufacturer part numbers.
See: QuickBooks SDK 7.0 for U.S. editions of QuickBooks 2008 for further details.
