Updating CustomFieldOther in the SalesReceipt table |

I'm using QODBC 7.0 and Quickbooks Pro 2006. I have created an MS Access front end to Quickbooks. I'm trying to update the CustomFieldOther field in the SalesReceipt table and am being prevented. I've also tried updating this field through the SalesReceiptLine table, but that doesn't work as well. My goal is to be able to import a UPS generated CSV file and update this field with the Tracking Number. Is there a workaround. |

Sorry, CustomFieldOther, CustomFieldSalesReceiptLineOther1 and CustomFieldSalesReceiptLineOther2 are all query only columns using QODBC v6 or v7 with QuickBooks 2006 or lower revisions (due to limitations by Intuit).
If you upgrade to QuickBooks 2007, you can use QODBC v7 to insert or update data in the Other, SalesReceiptLineOther1 and SalesReceiptLineOther2 fields. |
