On Windows 2003 small business server. QuickBooks is installed on the server as well as the odbc.

Can query from VBDemo, but when try to run a fullsync on any table get msg "Creating optimize table failed"

I am running the read only version of the driver. Is that my issue? Even though everything is on the server, including the datafile, do I need the server driver?

I've seen a post about using the DCOM servers but aparently don't get if that's what I should be doing in this case.

Please advise on what I'm doing wrong and what I need to do to get this working.

TIA

You must have full create/read/write permissions to the folder containing the opt file. Try resetting the optimizer as in: How do I switch OFF or RESET the QODBC optimizer?
