We currently have QODBC version 6 running on our server and using QB 2004 Pro Multi-User.  I am programming in Microsoft Access and use the QODBC to retrieve and enter data into QB.  The company would now like to upgrade to QB 2006 Premier and I am wondering if I will have any problems with my connection after conversion.  I was reading on the forum and the mention of a bug use QBXML SDK but I do not know if that problem would happen in 2006 Premier.  I am a beginner and I need to know what I am getting into before I cannot go back.  I have Access scheduled to run a few queries at night and it signs on automatically.

Your review and opinion of my situation is appreciated!

Thanks,

B&R

Company files that have been accessed by QODBC often have trouble trying to get unattended mode to work again when they are converted to the new Sybase backend used by USA versions of QuickBooks 2006 and 2007. It's a fact of life, when it happens (and if it happens) I run through the workaround shown at: After upgrading to QuickBooks 2006, QODBC "auto-login" unattended mode no longer works? and everything works again.
