During the installation process, while installing [ur.bat], I get the following error:
"Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."
I am administrator of my machine. I'm trying to evaluate QODBV8 for Quickbooks Pro 2002. Any idea why I get this error?
Thanks for your help.

I'm sorry, neither Intuit or FLEXquarters.com LLC support QuickBooks 2002 anymore. You really need to upgrade your copy of QuickBooks.
QuickBooks 2002 - USA Edition, 2003 elsewhere in the world, was the first version that contains the Intuit qbXML SDK (Software Development Kit) which is what we use to make data calls into the QuickBooks data, so previous versions of QuickBooks will not work with our product. Using the official SDK of QuickBooks guarantees your data will be validated and protected by QuickBooks at all times.
Please Note: Effective April 30, 2006, in accordance with Intuit's QuickBooks Sunset Policy, QODBC is no longer actively supported on QuickBooks 2003 (or earlier) and QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions Version 2.0 & 3.0. |
