I am trying to install the web version on a server and connect it as a Linked Server to SQL Server 2000.
I am able to use the VBDEMO32 application to pull queries from the QB database without a problem.
When I try to access the tables/views in Enterprise Manager or run a query with Query Analyzer I get the following error message:
OLE DB provider 'MSDASQL' reported an error.
[OLE/DB provider returned message: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr failed]
[OLE/DB provider returned message: [QODBC] QB Open Connection Failed. Create DCOM Instance Error = 8000401a, Unknown error.. Created qbXMLRP2 OK.
]
OLE DB error trace [OLE/DB Provider 'MSDASQL' IDBInitialize::Initialize returned 0x80004005: ].
I've looked at online docs and Yahoo groups but don't see anything that would give me a fix. Any suggestion will be appreciated.
