How to change Estimate to Invoice like QB Checking Inventory |

I need to move information from Access Estimate table to QB as an Invoice, but can't figure out how to handle the Inventory checking that occurs when moving estimate data to an invoice.
I am going to be printing / creating Purchase Orders in Access due to vendors needing different formats for the PO's, but need to checking the Inventory first.
Thank you in advance for your help. |

Normally you would check the Quantity On Hand for each inventory item in your estimate first before creating the QuickBooks invoice. You can do that by running:
SELECT QuantityOnHand FROM ItemInventory where FullName='Wood Screws'
When you create the invoice using QODBC, QuickBooks will adjust the quantity on hand for you automatically. |

Thank you, now I have another question - In Quickbooks, you get a popup telling you there isn't enough quantitiy on hand to invoice this order.
Is there a way to capture that event or is this noted anywhere in the record?
Just curious. I will be making a data entry screen that will link together the item's in an Estimate and the quantity on hand in access, but want to use the above event if possible to popup that screen.
Thank you for your time,

You will receive a error message if quantity on hand is too low when creating invoices. |
