What is the real level of ODBC support? How do I turn on ODBC level 3.0 compliant support? |

I'm evaluating QODBC for extracting data from Quickbooks. The documentation claims it's ODBC 3.0 compliant with level 2 api conformance, but SQLGetInfo indicates that it's ODBC 2.1 compliant with level 1 api conformance. It won't work with the tool I'm using which requires ODBC 3.0.
Can you tell why I'm seeing this discrepancy and how to resolve it?

There are a number of applications that use the Java ODBC library, like ColdFusion that need 2.1 compliancy, so that is the default of the QODBC driver. If you go to the advanced tab page in the QODBC Setup Screen you can uncheck the [ ] Run 2.1 Compliancy box and you'll be at the 3.0 compliancy level you require.
