Can someone explain the advantages/disadvantages of using QODBC vs using the QB SDK?
What additional programming skills are needed to use the SDK directly over and above using VBA or VB and SQL assuming an expert knowledge of Quickbooks?
I have been using QODBC for years with MS ACCESS for updating and inserting data into QB but have no idea what can be done with the SDK alone?

| QODBC uses the Intuit qbXML SDK itself. Only QODBC lets you use SQL statements. |
