Can't Find Sales Order Number in Invoice Table |

Hi,
Got this problem. Searched forum and found one post with the same title.
My case is different. Invoice not converted from Sales Order. Just create new invoice and enter all details.
In the field S.O. Number, entered a value "SO0001" and cannot find the value anywhere inside invoice table (select * from invoice). The "SO0001" is just a SO number created manually and not entered into quickbooks.
Where is my "SO0001" ?
