| Catastrophic Error |

| Hello. I wish to know if users connecting to QB data using openquery architecture encounter problems when running queries? Periodically I receive a message "Provider has encountered a catastrophic error". The query will fail when this happens. I must then restart the SQL service and run query again. We have linked our QB data source as a linked server in SQL 2005. |

Could you please provide a little more detail?
How does this occur? How many users are using QuickBooks? How many users are using QODBC? How many users are using the linked tables?
When? After 1 hour, 3 days, 2 months? |

This occurs when we are inserting invoice lines & headers into QB from SQL. When we run the queries, we have approx 5-10 concurrent users of QB but I'm the only developers using QODBC. The query will run for 30 seconds then report the error. |

| Do you mean that things will stop working after only 30 seconds? How many invoice lines and headers are written before this happens? |
