- Changed qualifications for Optimizer Pass Through to include QBES 2006 users.
- Corrected issue with some fields types changing to VARCHAR. This bug appeared in version .201.
- Added System Modal to the Test Connection Message box to bring it to the foreground when fired. Occasionally QuickBooks was in the foreground in front of it.

What is the current functionality for GroupItems for all types of transactions (ie, Invoices, Estimate, PO, etc...) ? I remember reading somewhere that the group quantity was fixed but what other functionality is now available in the newest release. Is there delete functionality yet? What about update functionality? At what level is the update functionality, meaning can qodbc only update the header information or can it update the groupItem information? Can you please summarize the current functionality that qodbc supports with regards to groupItems. |

As of QODBC v7.00.00.207, GroupItems can be INSERTed and added to Estimates, Sales Orders, Invoices, Purchase Orders and Bills. We cannot currently delete GroupItems (other than deleting the whole Estimate, Sales Order, Invoice, Purchase Order or Bill), nor can we edit (update) GroupItems (other than the GroupItem itself).
The main reason for the delay in fixing these issues has been Windows Vista. Intuit required us to provide Vista compatiblilty and it seriously cut into the time available to us to make GroupItems more useful within QODBC.
Enhancing the functionality of GroupItems is on the to do list. |
