I have a server license for QB2006/2007. When i try to use it I get a
Authorized Quantity for CDKey: xxxxxxx has been exhausted. (Auto)
however when i try to deactivate this cd key i get
Activation not on file for CDKey: xxxxxxxxx
how can i reset this CD key so i can continue to use it? also when i re-install the latest version of QODBC do i need to put a CD Key into the install screen when the computer already has a CD key registered on it?

CD Key : xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-4601 is still active on two computers. You will need to deactivate the activated computers first. QODBC updates can be installed over the top of a current activated installation without using your CD Key. |

The Software IDs for the computers in question are: 069499254400 and 153795030400 |

im sorry, is that software id a windows id of some type or is it a id value generated by QODBC itself. I am still rather unsure how to go about identifying the computer that is using the license. if i use the activate screen within QODBC and then click the phone button i see a software id that comes up. do i need to check this screen on each computer - will this software id change with each install of the QODBC.
further if the computer was formatted is there a way to deactivate the OQDBC license? i am pretty sure one of the machines have been formatted before it was deactivated. |

Yes, the QODBC Setup Screen "phone" button will expose the current Software ID of the computer, however, we accept no responsibility on the Activations and Deactivations you do using your CDKey. This is something you need to keep a record of. |
