Firstly, just wanted to thank you Tom For your help thus far. I have almost finished my project and have purchased a driver.
Qhickbooks 2008 pro Canada, QODBC 9.025
I cannot auto login to quickbooks while it is closed. But can access quickbooks when it is open. I have read the posts and have tried to follow the instructions and examples. I tried using vb demo andit fails to connect while closing. I logeed in with "Admin" but i have not set up a password.
i get the error that i dont have permision to log in and to set it up within quickbooks. I checked the settings and all is ok.
Also, I cannot close quickbooks after a finishing performing a query. I dont beleive i hae any errors since i ran it with out nay error handling and it terminates. I have to use task manger to close it.
These are the last two remaining issues left after an intense journey.
Can you give me a connection string example that works not just a template example so i can verify mine.
