My SSIS package works if and only if the Quickbooks has the company file open. Where is this limitation coming from? There has to be a way to run it if you setup the integrated applications to give the user proper authorities. Assume, the admin of the file gave the user unrestricted access and allows it to run it even if the Quickbooks is not running.

the way i have setup the environment is listed below:
1. Biz Connector service is setup
2. QODBC dsn is setup to work with the file and refers to biz connector
3. Linked Server setup on the company file and works

Any ways, all kind pointers will be greatly appreciated!!!

Try looking at: How do I setup QODBC to auto-login into QuickBooks and start it if it's not running?
