I am unclear as to which version i should be looking at.

we are in Australia, running small business server (where the QB data is located).

QB enterprise

All laptop / pc's that use QB are Vista.

HAve a copy of QB on the server so i guess that is where i will load the driver due to Vista issues, this also let's me use RDP to access and create the reports.

But i am not after any other connections so i really only need a desktop version i thnk as i have no server requirements for others.

Is thta correct or do i have to use the server edition regrdless?

Providing QuickBooks is also installed on the Small Business Server, you can use the Desktop Edition on the server. Windows Service connections only require the Server Edition of QODBC.
