I'm working on a solution for a client using QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 6.0 and QODBC 6. I'm trying to programmatically accomplish the following: In QuickBooks when viewing a customer, I click New Transaction, then Receive Payment, enter the payment amount in the Customer Payment window, uncheck Process VISA payment, then click Save & Close. After doing this the customer shows a payment transaction and a zero balance. A comparison of record counts before and after the transaction using QODBC shows one record added to each of the following tables: InvoiceLinkedTxn, ReceivePaymentToDeposit, and Transaction, but all of these are read-only tables. How do I accomplish this through QODBC? I have looked at How do I create a new Customer, invoice them and mark the invoice as paid? for a solution, but it doesn't seem to apply here. What am I missing?

Actually it does, please take another look. Prehaps you should also look at: How to I handle Customer credits on account? as it has a screen dump of the very screen you are referring too.
