Using : QB 2008 Canadian, QODBC V8
Can one update the sales tax amount in quickbooks? round off errors create credits and debits of a few cents here and there.

First of all, you can't use QODBC v8 with the Canadian version of QuickBooks 2008, see: Release 9.0.0.250 Fixes
With GST, PST etc, governments don't like you entering a tax amount. To correct rounding issues or more importantly, to match the GST charged by an external system, like a POS system, you need to adjust the price to match the tax or create a rounding line from within the invoice or create a rounding invoice for the batch which the customer doesn't see. |
