Hi:
I tested the QODBC using the VBDemo included and I am able to see the data; but when I tried to see the data through a Linked Server on SQL Enterprise Manager, I got the follow error message:
"Error 7399: OLEDB Provider 'MSDASQL' reported an error. Data source name not found and no default driver specified]"
The DSN is correct. Also, I tried to see the data on Excel, but I got the follow error message:
"OLEDB. There is an error on the component"
And on the VB Demo I cann't execute UPDATE or INSERT sentences...

Any idea?

Thanks!

Patricio

See: How do I use prompted date ranges in MS Excel? and Does QODBC work with MS SQL Server 2005 Linked Tables?

You need to be running either a QODBC Evaluation copy or a Read/Write edition to perform UPDATE or INSERT opertations. The copy of QODBC shipped with QuickBooks 2006 and 2007 in the United States is READ ONLY.
