I haven't updated yet, but I'm wondering if a feature I really needed has been added.
Currently I have a DTS package that runs on my sql server but with version 6 of Qb and QODBC i have to have QuickBooks open for the DTS package to run successfully.  I really need to have quickbooks closed for many reasons and was wondering if there's a way to have the DTS package run with Quickbooks closed?  Such as just pointing to the company file instead of having to have Quickbooks open.

Am I doing something wrong with Version 6 or can I upgrade to version 7 and get this to work?

Thanks!

This has nothing to do with v6 or v7, it depends on the version of QuickBooks you are using and whether you have configured unattended access. See: How do I setup QODBC to auto-login into QuickBooks and start it if it's not running?
