Windows 64-bit? |

Will QODBC work with 64-bit windows OSes?
I have QODBC 2007 running on Server 2003 R1 32-bit ok, but on 2003 R2 64-bit I am getting errors in the ODBC Data Source Administrator "The setup routines for the QODBC Driver for QuickBooks could not be found. Please reinstall the driver." and then "Component Not found in the Registry." when trying to manage the DSN created via QODBC. Also that DSN appears as a "User DSN" and the driver doesn't appear as an option when trying to create a new System DSN.
I think I know the answer already, but didn't see the topic in any other threads...
Thanks. |

QODBC is currently not supported on 64-bit Windows platforms. We have only just completed Vista compliance with QODBC v7.00.00.206 or later (not publicly released as at 20 Jan 2007) and Intuit hasn't requested us to support 64-bit platforms. So there are also no plans to support 64-bit. |

Hi, I've just installed QB 2008 on my Vista Ultimate x64 box. QB works fine, but trying to install QODBC fails as it puts files in the wrong locations.
Can you please support the 64-bit OS's The world is moving that way quickly....
I was planning to purchase your tool, but now without support for my main system, why should I buy it?

I am not aware of any plans by FLEXquarters.com LLC to support any 64 bit Operating System at this stage for QODBC. Sorry. |
