I have an application that creates invoices using QODBC, by putting records iinto the InvoiceLine table.  This works fine, except that I can't update the Memo field.

So I tried to create an invoice by adding a line to the Invoice table.

However, when I try to Update the line into the table, I get an error "[QODBC] Not supported"

What does this mean?  Is the Invoice table some kind of "View" or Read-only table.  Or is it a problem with the QODBC installation.

This is using QODBC Desktop Read Write UK Version 8.00.00.242  and QB 2004 UK

Does anyone have any ideas?

PS.  It lets me .AddNew, to create an invoice table record, but I just can't .Update it afterwards

The Memo field is not editable and not available for insert through the Intuit qbXML SDK in versions prior to QuickBooks 2004 USA or QuickBooks 2008 UK. If you upgrade to QuickBooks 2008 UK, or later. QODBC will allow you to insert or modify the Memo field.
