That would normally happen on a Microsoft Windows Vista computer because the software protection module within FlexODBC hasn't been updated for Vista (yet). |

Hi Tom,
How have you been?
Our customer is working with Windows Server 2003.
He uninstalled and installed the FlexODBC again to try to solver the problem and now it shows the following message:
Unable to Open License File 2
Best Regards, Flavio |

A FlexODBC "Unable to Open License File" error message on platforms other than Microsoft Windows Vista indicates this type of problem:- a) The current login Windows user account doesn't have read/write access to C:\WINDOWS\system32\NKJUDB7E.ocx b) The FlexODBC license key has been corrupted. The license key is actually hidden in NKJUDB7E.ocx when the registration system was first used and is found in the C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder. Please rename it to .bad, reinstall FlexODBC (don't reboot) and manually reactivate the license. Note: All Windows user accounts (including Windows Services) will require at least read only access to C:\WINDOWS\system32\NKJUDB7E.ocx to use FlexODBC. |
