Changing Item Type |

Can I change the item type from ItemNonInventory to Item Inventory using QODBC?
We are trying to switch our system to using Inventory and Assembly Items. We currently have over 6500 items. I am hoping to be able to write a quick little app to change all of these nonInventory items to Inventory.
Thanks |

In QODBC the ItemInventory and ItemNonInventory are seperate tables. So you can read each ItemNonInventory, delete it and re-create the item as a ItemInventory item, but you will also need to re-link the ItemInvetoryAssemblyLine.ItemInventoryAssemblyLnItemInventoryRefListID with the new ListIDs for the new ItemInventory items.
Note: The company file will need to be in single user mode to perform the delete operations. |
