Loaded QODBC Server Driver for QuickBooks USA 2008 onto the server and received this error when trying to connect to the Linked Server via the query. (SQL Server) SELECT * FROM OPENQUERY(QODBC, 'SELECT * FROM Host')
Server: Msg 7399, Level 16, State 1, Line 1 OLE DB provider 'MSDASQL' reported an error. [OLE/DB provider returned message: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr failed] [OLE/DB provider returned message: [QODBC] QB Open Connection Failed. Create QB COM Instance Error = 80040154, Unknown error.] OLE DB error trace [OLE/DB Provider 'MSDASQL' IDBInitialize::Initialize returned 0x80004005: ].
