I have run an sp_report using Microsoft Query while my QB company file is open.  When I run it with the file closed, I get an error message that indicates that a "call to the 'BeginSession' method must include the name of the Quickbooks company data file."  How do I set that up?

Thanks

See: How do I setup QODBC to auto-login into QuickBooks and start it if it's not running?

I went through the setup process mentioned in your link and continue to get the following message.

[QODBC] QB Begin Sesion Failed.  Error = 8004041d, This application is not allowed to log into this Quickbooks company data file automatically.  The Quickbooks adminstrator can grant permission for automatic login through the Integrated Application preferences.

I double checked the permissions and setup and they appear to be correct.  What can I try from this point?  Could there be a security issue preventing access?  Everything works fine when the QB company file is open.
