So I've been browsing around on the form and have found several good examples of how I think I should be inserting a new sales order.. however.. I'm a bit confused..

1. how can you insert to the SalesOrderLine before SalesOrder.. Don't you need the SalesOrder's TxnID to put into the SalesOrderLine table so you know which line it's assigned to?..

2. are all the Id's auto generated?.... like ItemRefFullName.. do I need to put in the id to?..

3. Is salesorder and salesorder line the only tables I need to insert into if that's all I'm trying to accomplish?..

Thanks in advance.. and sorry for my n00bness..

All ListID and TxnIDs are automatically generated by QuickBooks. All transactions are created using INSERTs on the transaction table, not the header table. See: How can I create multiple lines in the Invoice, Purchase, Journal and other tables?
