I am very frustrated and need any advice I can get on how to get this going. I am using a Remote Desktop connection to work on the Quick Books, MS SQL and .NET applications. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you must use your remote Desktop, use this line to connect to the Foreground console first!:

mstsc /v:servername /console

You must give read and write rights to the QuickBooks application folder (normally C:\Program Files\QODBC Driver for QuickBooks\) to the Anonymous web user IUSR_machinename, ASPNET user and INTERACTIVE. This allows access to the DCOM server executables. See: How can I see QuickBooks data in a Internet Explorer Browser using Windows XP? for further information.

The fix for the ActiveX error is found at: XERCES-COM.dll Error: ActiveX component cant create object
