I created a basic DTS in MS SQL 2003 that uses QODBC. It runs perfectly. HOWEVER, when I create a scheduled job to run the same DTS, the job fails. Here is the error I'm getting in the SDK log:

2007-06-28 16:05:26 QODBC Ver:  7.00.00.194 *********************************************************************************************************************
IsAService: False
Begin Session Failed. S0000 00000 [QODBC] QB Begin Session Failed. Error = 80040408, Could not start QuickBooks.
Begin Session errors can be caused when running ASP or other system service and not setting the "Advanced" button option of either "Use DCOM Servers" or "Remote Connector"

I've tried the suggested solutions listed in the error message, but nothing works. Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

When you run your DTS job as a scheduled job it runs as a Windows Service meaning that QuickBooks must not be running at the time, the company file must work in "unattended mode",  the company file's full path must be specified in the connection DSN, you must be running the QODBC Server Edition and have the QODBC DCOMs configured correctly, see:
