| I realize that a free version of the read-only driver comes with QB Enterprise. Is the free version the QODBC server license. In other words, if I purchase a 15 user version of Enterprise do I have license to 15 users of QODBC? Do I get free upgrades to the latest versions of QODBC as well? |

The QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 6.0 product includes a QODBC Driver for QuickBooks; this will enable read-only access to the QuickBooks data using standard SQL queries, which QODBC converts to QuickBooks SDK queries.
In the case of a 15 user version of Enterprise, you will also be licensed to run 15 copies of QODBC. All licensed users can upgrade their installation of QODBC at any point of time .... to update QODBC, click on the download button, save the download file to disk and install over the top of your current QODBC installation (do not uninstall QODBC unless directed to do so by a support member) :-
You however always remain licensed to the year of QuickBooks that you brought QODBC, ie: QODBC v4 to QuickBooks 2004, QODBC v5 to QuickBooks 2005, QODBC v6 to QuickBooks 2006. |
