Does the QODBC driver work with BOEXIR2? I have created a generic ODBC connection in BO designer and can access Quickbooks tables but am unable to vew column values or run a successful query in the Desktop intelligence. |

QODBC works with Business Objects Crystal Reports and Crystal Report Server. I don't have a copy of BOEXIR2, but you may need to check the "Run 2.1 ODBC Compatibility" checkbox or uncheck it - Certain applications require ODBC 2.1 Compatibility or ODBC 3.0 Compatibility to use QODBC. For example, anything that uses the Java ODBC library, like ColdFusion, requires this option turned on or recordsets will be returned with no rowsets or only 1 rowset. MS Visual Studio requires ODBC 3.0 Compatibility.
If BOEXIR2 is running as a Windows Service you will also need to setup the QODBC DCOMs or the Remote Connector. |
