I manage approximately 40 quickbooks enterprise files and am having a problem connecting the qodbc driver for pulling data to Excel for only two of the files when quickbooks is closed.  I have followed the instructions for allowing access for the driver and set the permission for access in the preferences section.  I have tried reinstalling the driver, and removed all users from the files following the 17 step process somewhere on this site.  It is frustrating, because for most of the files, it works fine.  The error that i get is the 8004041d error, but when i check the preferences, the checkbox for "allow this application to read this company file" is checked and the Admin login is chosen below.  Any suggestions of where to begin?  I have hit a wall.

Thanks!
Pete

This is simply a case of "If you don't succeed try, try, again!".  Please try looking at: : After upgrading to QuickBooks 2006, QODBC "auto-login" unattended mode no longer works? again for more details on trouble shooting auto-login mode connections as I've recently expanded it.
