From one of our developers:
I have discovered some limitations in Filemaker 6, that you may be interested in for the sake of your knowledgebase. Mainly that the native SQL functionality is hideously inadequate, opening and closing a new session at every single command.
There is an excellent (so far) plugin that extends Filemaker SQL abilities and solved the issues I've experienced. PDM SQL Plugin is easy to use and it gives the control that Filemaker lacks. You'll be doing a favor to your customers trying to link Filemaker to QuickBooks by suggesting this item.
I'd be happy to answer any questions if you wish to call.
